these are the items in the shelf to my right: Check 2 sleeves of golf balls, two boxes of Remington 380 automatic bullets, old flask (probably should be far from the bullets!) thesaurus, CA camping book, APA Manual, National Audubon Field Guide for Birds and Burial Documents for Grandpa Fred - hmm... either balanced or psycho depending on the mood you're in....Gus says it's just a good sign of one who is living life...

bloody mary musings

pollyanna i am not - as i delight in the rainy,dreary morning sipping a bloody mary to comfortably end the occasion of the night before. (figuratively wrapping our arms around our friend whose husband was sent to Iraq for the 2nd time...the day before their anniversary...into the red zone) whatever delusions i may have of hardships in my life...my husband never coming home again is not one of them. yet there was some comfort in 11 women and 1 guy (my sweetman) drinking margaritas and philosophizing on the finer points of dirtbiking vs. street HA! agnostic vs. atheist and the importance of camouflage thongs on such an occasion and why our friend Orla's name means "golden princess" aahhh the good times...why must it take an emotional disaster to get us out and about. sigh...i think it's time for one more bloody...and a good snuggle with Gus.
